About Me

Fitness and strength training has been a passion of mine for several years now.  Back in 2017, I decided that I wanted more muscle definition and so I found a simple program and started lifting. My first few workouts I only used an empty barbell (45 lbs) but I stuck with the program and increased by squat up to 255 lbs in about 18 months!

 

At that point I was invited by a friend of mine to try out a CrossFit-style fitness competition and I discovered a new passion! Over the next several years, I went to several more competitions and eventually decided to get my CrossFit Level 1 coaching certification.  

 

In January 2022, I moved to Prince Rupert and quickly got involved with leading HIIT and strength training classes on a part-time basis while still working full time as an engineer/project manager.  As work started to get busy, I had to take a step back from leading classes for a while but I really enjoy helping people enter the world of strength training and so I've completed my training with ISSA to become a Certified Personal Trainer!

In addition to personal training, I work as a project manager and enjoy a variety of activities such as hiking, surfing and racquet sports like squash and pickleball!
